Volunteer Application Form
Dear Volunteer Applicant:
The Neighbors Network of Lee County (NNLC) has been building a strong foundation to support neighbors networks (also called 'villages') located throughout all of Lee County. NNLC is designed to serve as the administrative umbrella that oversees the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, manages the website for scheduling events and tasks, secures liability insurance, and provides other functions required for the smooth running of villages in the network.
Our first Neighbors Network of Lee County Village is called the Six Mile Cypress Village, and it is located in the Six Mile Cypress area, where our wellness and educational programs have been held with great success over the last 3 years. You must live in the Six Mile Cypress Area to become a member of this village. You do NOT need to live in the Six Mile Cypress Area to become a volunteer.
This is the rough geographic area covered by the Six Mile Cypress Village:
New villages will be developed as volunteer leaders step forward. If you would like information on how to start a village in your neighborhood, please contact us at [email protected]
The following graphic depicts the possible growth of NNLC when new villages come onboard.
Our Volunteer Manager, Amy Admire Heystek, has been hard at work lining up our volunteers and preparing our scheduling database to accept requests and to match these requests with the available volunteers. Once she receives your application, Amy will be in touch with you to learn more about your interests and to answer any questions you have.
